About the Skyland Conference
The Skyland Conference is comprised of 25 public and private high schools located in Somerset, Hunterdon, Warren and parts of Middlesex counties in New Jersey. The conference is dedicated to promoting excellence in athletics, fostering sportsmanship, and providing opportunities for student-athletes to compete at the highest level.
All Skyland Conference member schools are members of the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA) and compete in accordance with NJSIAA rules and regulations.
Conference Mission
The purpose of athletics in the Skyland Conference is to develop wholesome attitudes toward school programs, teams, participants, officials, administrators and coaches; to develop qualities of responsibility, cooperation, citizenship, leadership and sportsmanship; to compete successfully in a sportsmanlike manner for all.
The Skyland Conference strives to:
- Promote fair competition and sportsmanship among member schools
- Provide opportunities for student-athletes to develop their athletic skills
- Foster positive relationships between schools and communities
- Support the educational mission of our member schools through athletics
- Maintain high standards of integrity and ethical conduct in all athletic programs
Member Schools
The Skyland Conference consists of 25 member schools across Somerset, Hunterdon, Warren and Middlesex counties:
- Somerset County: Bernards, Bound Brook, Bridgewater-Raritan, Franklin, Hillsborough, Immaculata, Manville, Montgomery, Mount Saint Mary, North Plainfield, Ridge, Rutgers Prep, Somerville, Watchung Hills
- Hunterdon County: Delaware Valley, Hunterdon Central, North Hunterdon, South Hunterdon, Voorhees
- Warren County: Belvidere, North Warren, Phillipsburg, Warren Hills
- Independent/Multi-county: Gill St. Bernard's, Pingry
